Another Professional Player Joins Prep Stars Coaching Staff!

Prep Stars is proud to announce the signing of a fabulous professional soccer player to join its coaching staff!  Mo Roknipour becomes the third Professional Soccer Player on the Prep Stars staff!  Welcome Mo Roknipour!

Player Profile: Mo Roknipour

                    DOB: 10/13/1992

                    Size: 6-1, 180

                    Team: LA Blues

                    Position(s): Striker, Winger

Previous Team: LD Alajuelens (Costa Rica 1st Division)

Overview: A bonafide playmaker, Roknipour is an incredibly athletic striker/winger very comfortable with the ball at his feet. Fearless on the wing, he has exceptional one-on-one ability that he utilizes to create space for crosses and shots. Also plays a key role on set-up plays for his teammates on free kicks or finishing them himself. Roknipour is a young player with unlimited potential who is ready to make his mark in the professional and International ranks.  Mo also made national headlines in American football for Canyon High School in Santa Clarita where he broke a school record as kicker with a successful 57-yard Field Goal, the longest in California since 1994, and the fifth longest in high school football history!  The kick can be seen on NBC News (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uf8Jo43zNJc). Mo’s talent as a field goal kicker may lead to a career in the NFL, as he has been contacted several times to try out!

2012-13 - LA Blues: 4 appearances, 1 goal and 1 assist in 60 minutes. A late season signing by the Blues, Mo scored his first goal in a USL Pro Playoff game versus Charleston Battery and provided a game winning assist during a regular season game.
